BIRTHDAY ARCHIVE
For this video, I wanted to capture the nostalgic atmosphere of 2000’s home movies. The Sony FS100 camcorder was used to reflect the intimate nature of this day’s celebration. In collaboration with a photographer, I used photo overlays to capture the video atmosphere into momentary stills. I was also able to use phone recordings to capture multiple angles to add visual interest.

Portrait of An Artist
In this video, I opted for a more documentary-esque approach to capture an acoustic performance in a personal setting. I used B-roll footage to add visual interest to the static scene—using momentoes in the room as vessels for storytelling, creating an authentic portrait of an artist and their craft.

MUsic Journalism
This video is an interview with local band Sugar Drive—spotlighting their upcoming EP. From storyboarding to drafting questions, I wanted to capture the group’s unique personality and identity as a Pop/Rock group. I embedded the band’s music, syncing the group’s opening single to the introduction. I also incorporated a unique animated title card in collaboration with a graphic designer.

MUsic VIDEO
This is a music video for my single “Bones”. Aligning with the central themes of the song, my creative direction emphasized the abstract and gloomy nature of the work. Having written, produced, and engineered the song, I wanted to have a visual accompaniment to the song’s dark atmosphere. With the help of a videographer, I executed shots that conveyed my vision, then edited the video to the song’s emotional beats.
